This remote course offers you an overview of the historical background of the technology change in vehicles and the essential aspects of bit-serial communication. This includes basics of analog-to-digital conversion, possible transmission media and topologies, as well as the differences in the communication mechanisms of the typical systems CAN (FD), LIN, FlexRay and Automotive Ethernet.
